Celebrate with us!
A large, bright room, 'The Pavillion', is available for large parties, weddings & meetings.
This is attached to, and accessed, through the main pub but can be separated for privacy if required. The Pavillion can seat in the region of 50 people for a sit-down meal and up to 75 people for a buffet. There is a wooden dance floor and space for a musical act or disco, and access to a private decked area, with optional pergola, and access beyond to the main garden in good weather. There is also the possibility of using our restaurant room to provide further space.
The choice is yours
We are able to provide buffets ranging from £7.25 per head for a simple, cold finger buffet, rising in complexity and price indefinitely, and also have facilities to provide hot buffets. We can also offer set meals for large groups which are individually tailored to suit your own needs. We have previously catered for the likes of birthday parties (ranging in age from 1 - 90!), anniversaries & weddings, and the room is available for serial bookings for social groups. Unlike many venues, we do not charge a premium for our functions so using the Pavilion can be a very cost-effective way of hosting a special event. For full-day day events such as shooting parties, weddings and family gatherings, we are able to tailor packages including, as desired, breakfast / brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Hog roasts and more!
We can also offer hog roasts for functions both on and off-site! With our new state-of-the-art spitroast machine we can provide Hog Roasts, Lamb Spit-Roasts and many other delicious offerings. These can be as simple as local Roast Pork baps with stuffing, crackling and apple sauce, to being served with a selection of salads and roast potatoes - an ideal and exciting way of feeding your party guests!
